The diffusion panel should have various physical, chemical and optical qualities and have economic quality to be sold in the market.
Physically, it should be light, highly resistant to heat and strong. Chemically, it should be resistant to water and other material. Optically, it should have light effectiveness; a good contrast between bright and dark; and brightness that shows light dispersion and brightness. And there are other requirements.
It should be resistant to gas or water generated from inside and be resistant to heat of lamp and UV.
The purpose of the diffusion panel is to acquire a good flat light source. The characteristics of diffusing agent are very important to get a uniform distribution of light and a high luminosity by passing light emitted in the backside.
The diffusing agent has the form of real sphere by involving in the dispersion of a light with mixed in the basic material, and it should have very uniform distribution.
It should be chemically stable with base resin, and there should be no color distortion when it disperse and reflect a light. The white light source should be reflected and dispersed without changing the color. |
